Internship at Andersen & Maillard
Responsibilities:
- Assist bakers and pastry chefs with daily preparation of bread, pastries, and other baked goods.
- Measure and mix ingredients according to recipes.
- Help with shaping pastries, sourdough bread, baguettes, and various other products
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen and baking equipment.
- Follow all health and safety regulations in food preparation.
Requirements:
- Passion for baking and a willingness to learn.
- Basic knowledge of baking techniques is a plus but not required.
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift light to moderate weights.
- Availability to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays if needed.
- Minimum time commitment is 2 weeks to ensure that you get the most out of your experience
