Internship at Andersen & Maillard

Responsibilities:

  • Assist bakers and pastry chefs with daily preparation of bread, pastries, and other baked goods.
  • Measure and mix ingredients according to recipes.
  • Help with shaping pastries, sourdough bread, baguettes, and various other products
  • Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen and baking equipment.
  • Follow all health and safety regulations in food preparation.

Requirements:

  • Passion for baking and a willingness to learn.
  • Basic knowledge of baking techniques is a plus but not required.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift light to moderate weights.
  • Availability to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays if needed.
  • Minimum time commitment is 2 weeks to ensure that you get the most out of your experience
