Head Baker

Are you a passionate Head Baker and ready to take the lead in a well-established bakery in the heart of Copenhagen?

We are seeking a talented and experienced Head Baker that enjoys communication and knowledge sharing, has a strong team mentality, and is motivated to support the vision of Andersen & Maillard.

As Head Baker you will become part of an existing management team, together with our Head Pastry Chef, referring to our Executive Baker.


Skills:

·      Proven experience as a Head Baker or a similar role in a bakery environment.

·      Strong knowledge of baking techniques and sourdough breadmaking.

·      Excellent leadership and communication skills.

·      Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

·      Flexibility with work hours, including weekends and holidays.

·      Strong team mentality

·      Attention to detail.



Responsibilities:

·      Management and organization of the workflow.

·      Ensure the quality and consistency of all baked goods.

·      New product development.

·      Train new and existing team members.

·      Oversee the entire baking process.

·      5 shifts per week; 4 in the Bakery, 1 office / training / recruiting / product development day.
