We are looking for a Senior Backend Developer with deep expertise in Laravel and MySQL, and strong experience in backend architecture and system design. This on-site role, based in Copenhagen, offers flexibility for work from home and the opportunity to shape the foundation of a platform that supports global product personalization and production workflows.
· Lead development of backend systems using Laravel
· Design and optimize MySQL database structures for performance and scalability
· Architect backend services supporting high-traffic workflows
· Build and maintain RESTful APIs
· Contribute to system architecture and long-term platform strategy
· Collaborate with international teams and mentor developers
· Minimum 5 years of backend development experience
· Strong expertise in PHP (Laravel)
· Advanced experience with MySQL
· Experience designing scalable backend architectures
· Strong understanding of testing, security, and performance tuning
· Experience mentoring or leading developers
· The successful candidate must hold a valid Danish work permit.
