Custimoo builds the product customization platform that powers online stores — letting end customers design, personalize, and visualize products before they buy. Our platform integrates with Shopify, WooCommerce, and headless storefronts, handling everything from 3D rendering to production-ready output files.
We're a high-ownership team based in Copenhagen, and we've made a deliberate bet: we're building an AI-augmented team where each engineer has 10x leverage through AI agents, automated code review, and prompt-driven development. This isn't a side experiment — it's how we build every day.
You won't just "use AI tools." You'll work alongside purpose-built AI agents that are already part of our engineering workflow:
· Atlas (PR Reviewer): Reviews every pull request automatically — analyzing code quality, suggesting improvements, and posting inline comments before a human ever looks at it. You'll help evolve its review prompts and model selection.
· Olaf (Knowledge Agent): Our internal assistant for codebase navigation, documentation, and onboarding. Knows our architecture and can answer questions about any part of the system.
· Elsa (Design Agent): Handles design system consistency, component generation, and frontend pattern enforcement.
Your job isn't just to use these agents — it's to make them better, build new ones, and push the boundary of what our AI-augmented team can do.
In a typical week, you might:
· Write a detailed prompt to generate a Vue component, review and refine the output, then integrate it into the product builder
· Debug why Atlas is giving false-positive review comments on a specific code pattern — and fix the system prompt
· Build a new API endpoint in Laravel, using AI-assisted coding to go from spec to tested implementation in hours, not days
· Automate a manual QA workflow by wiring up an AI agent to catch visual regressions
· Refactor a legacy module by having AI analyze the codebase and propose a migration path, then validate and execute it
· Improve our CI/CD pipeline to include AI-powered checks that catch issues human reviewers miss
The common thread: you're comfortable letting AI do the first draft, then applying your engineering judgment to make it production-ready.
You must have hands-on, daily experience with AI coding tools. This is the core filter for this role. If you haven't used AI to write production code, this isn't the right fit — yet.
Required (all of these):
· 5+ years of full stack development experience — you've shipped and maintained production applications
· Proven, daily use of AI coding tools to write, debug, and refactor real code — not just experimentation
· JavaScript/TypeScript fluency, including at least one modern framework (Vue.js preferred, React also fine)
· Backend experience with Laravel (PHP) or Node.js — building APIs, working with databases, handling auth
· Comfort with prompt engineering: you know how to structure prompts that get reliable, high-quality output from LLMs
· Git workflow proficiency — you'll be working with AI-generated code that needs careful review before merging
Strong advantage (any of these):
· Experience building or configuring AI agents, workflows, or automations (LangChain, CrewAI, custom agent loops, etc.)
· Azure DevOps or similar CI/CD experience — we run builds, releases, and code review automation on Azure
· Cloud infrastructure experience (Azure preferred, AWS also relevant)
· Experience with 3D rendering, WebGL, or product visualization tools
· Familiarity with e-commerce platforms (Shopify, WooCommerce, headless commerce)
This role is ideal for an engineer who:
· Gets genuinely excited about AI tools and proactively finds new ways to use them — you're the person who already automates your own work
· Thinks of AI as a multiplier, not a replacement — you know when to trust the AI output and when to rewrite it
· Prefers high ownership over large teams — you'd rather own a feature end-to-end than be one of 15 people touching it
· Is comfortable with ambiguity — in an AI-first workflow, the "right way" changes fast, and you adapt
· Communicates clearly in English — our team is international
· Real AI-first, not AI-adjacent: You'll have more leverage per engineer than teams 5x our size, because of how we use AI
· Direct impact: Small team means your work ships fast and your ideas get heard. No six-month roadmap committees.
· Shape the workflow: You won't just consume AI — you'll build the agents, refine the prompts, and shape how the entire team develops software.
· Great location: Copenhagen office, international team, Danish work-life balance.
· Competitive compensation: Competitive salary benchmarked to the Copenhagen tech market.
