About the role:
Fritz Hansen is looking for a commercially driven Contract Area Manager to strengthen and grow our contract business across key markets in the Americas.
Based in New York City, this role will play an important part in developing our contract business through specification, project development and strong relationships across the architecture, design and commercial interiors community. In New York, the role will work closely with our local contract partner to further develop the market, while also supporting and developing our network of multi-line representatives across assigned territories.
Working closely with the New York showroom team, our local contract partner, multi-line representatives and dealer network, you will help identify and develop new business opportunities while ensuring strong and consistent market coverage across assigned territories.
Success in the role will be measured through growth in contract sales and specifications, development and conversion of the project pipeline, increased client engagement and showroom traffic, strong and consistent market activity, and achievement of annual sales objectives.
Key responsibilities:
· Drive contract sales, specification activity and business development across assigned territories, with a particular focus on developing the New York City market in close collaboration with our local contract partner.
· Build and develop strong relationships with architects, designers, developers, commercial dealers and other key industry stakeholders to generate specifications, project opportunities and long-term business.
· Manage, support and develop multi-line representatives across assigned markets, including product education, joint market visits, sales support, performance follow-up, and development of account and territory strategies.
· Develop and actively manage the project pipeline, supporting opportunities from initial specification through conversion and installation, including forecasting, project tracking and follow-up.
· Conduct client presentations, lunch-and-learns, showroom tours and product training, and represent Fritz Hansen at relevant industry events, networking opportunities and market activations.
· Leverage the New York showroom as a key platform for A&D engagement, client meetings, product launches, training and brand activities, working closely with the local team and sales partners to strengthen Fritz Hansen’s presence in the market.
