Become a Key Player at Fritz Hansen, Crafting Marketing Strategies for Iconic Designs in Japan

As our Marketing Manager, you will play a key role in shaping Fritz Hansen's brand presence and driving strategic initiatives in the Japanese market.

Reporting directly to our Head of Japan, you will collaborate closely with the central and local teams to ensure the seamless execution of our Sales & Brand Strategy, aligning with the overall Global Brand Management Plan. You will be based at our office in Gaiemmae, Tokyo.


Your overall responsibility will be to create, coordinate and implement all brand activities including:

  • Brand Reputation Management: Ensure that our brand's reputation is positively represented in all communications and PR activities.
  • Strategic PR Planning: Develop and execute a strategic PR plan that amplifies the brand's presence and reputation in Japan, aligning with the global brand strategy.
  • Compelling Content Creation: Create engaging, PR-driven content that resonates with target audiences across various platforms. Craft narratives that showcase Fritz Hansen's design excellence and its impact on the industry.
  • Media Relationship Building: Cultivate and nurture relationships with local press and media outlets to secure high-profile placements and coverage for Fritz Hansen, our products, and brand activities.
  • Event Management: Plan and manage events and initiatives that generate media attention, aligning with product launches and brand milestones.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Educational Background: Higher Education Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Communication, or a related field.
  • Language Skills: Native Japanese and proficiency in both written and spoken English.
  • Work Experience: A minimum of 5 years experience in PR, marketing and event planning preferably experience within the high-end/luxury retail industry.
  • Creative Mindset: A creative mind and a demonstrated track record in generating innovative concepts for events, collaborations, exhibitions, and more.
  • Team Collaboration: Demonstrate a collaborative spirit and the ability to work seamlessly within a team.
