Fritz Hansen is looking for a commercially driven Sales Manager, Contract to strengthen and grow our Contract business in Norway. In this role, you will work closely with architects, partners, key customers and internal stakeholders to develop our presence across workplace, hospitality, public spaces and commercial interiors.
About the role:
You will be responsible for developing Fritz Hansen’s Contract business in Norway through structured sales planning, customer development and close collaboration with the professional design and architecture community.
You will represent one of Scandinavia’s most iconic design brands and collaborate closely with architects and leading design professionals across the Norwegian market, while playing a central role in shaping Fritz Hansen’s long-term Contract presence.
The role is highly independent and market-facing, with regular travel within Norway.
Key responsibilities:
As Sales Manager, Contract, you will be responsible for developing and growing the Contract business in Norway in close collaboration with the Head of Contract Nordics.
Your main responsibilities will include:
· Develop and execute local sales plans, activity plans and budgets in line with the regional business plan.
· Drive Contract sales growth through customer development, project pipeline management and follow-up on commercial targets.
· Build and maintain strong relationships with architects, partners, key accounts, end users and other professional stakeholders.
· Identify new business opportunities and secure a structured, well-managed project pipeline.
· Plan and conduct customer visits, partner meetings, product launches and relevant market activities.
· Ensure accurate use of CRM and provide regular updates on sales performance, market development and customer insights.
Your profile:
We are looking for a commercially driven and relationship-oriented Sales Manager with solid experience in B2B sales, business development or key account management — preferably within design, furniture, interiors, architecture, workplace solutions or another contract-related industry.
You understand project-based sales, long sales cycles and complex stakeholder landscapes. You are structured, proactive and confident in translating commercial priorities into concrete market activities.
To succeed in the role, you should bring:
· Proven experience in B2B sales, business development or key account management.
· Strong commercial understanding and a structured approach to sales planning and follow-up.
· Experience working with architects, partners, dealers, end users or other professional stakeholders.
· Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
· A proactive, independent and results-oriented working style.
· Fluency in Norwegian and English, both written and spoken.
