About SmartBird
SmartBird is the first software product from the GreyBird Aviation Group, backed by Dansk Ejerkapital, a leading Danish private equity fund. With this strong foundation, we are launching an ambitious initiative to elevate our IT platform to new heights.
SmartBird is a web-based platform that integrates key areas of aviation—from training, certifications, and education to aircraft servicing and workshop management—into a unified solution. It also supports aviation operators, making it a versatile tool for the industry.
With seven years of development, SmartBird is a mature and proven platform, serving as the cornerstone of GreyBird Aviation Group’s operations. As we prepare for a 2025 market launch, we are entering a critical phase to establish SmartBird as a standalone SaaS business.
Located at Aarhus Airport, you’ll work close to the action, surrounded by pilot training and aircraft maintenance operations, ensuring a deep connection to the industry.
About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Developer to join our team and play a key role in preparing SmartBird for a wide-scale market launch in 2025. Your responsibilities will span the full stack, from backend to frontend, giving you the chance to shape both the product and our development processes.
If you have a particular passion for either backend or frontend, we’re open to focusing your role accordingly.
Key Responsibilities:
• Full-stack development across backend and frontend systems.
• Contribute to the design and implementation of innovative solutions.
• Play a central role in evolving the SmartBird platform to a SaaS product.
What We’re Looking For:
• Experience with:
• C# / .NET
• HTML, CSS, JavaScript
• MSSQL
• A relevant educational background in IT, such as computer science, software engineering, or similar.
• A solution-oriented and proactive mindset.
• The ability to thrive in a startup environment.
• A passion for creating products from the ground up and driving them to completion.
• Motivation to be part of a growing company where your contributions make a significant difference.
