We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Site Lead to join our dynamic team. You will play an important role in managing the daily operations offshore on our MCE projects, ensuring that all activities are conducted in compliance with HSEQ standards. This role requires leadership skills, the ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders, and a strong focus on documentation and reporting.
Responsibilities:
- HSEQ: Ensure that all health, safety, environment, and quality standards are strictly adhered to. This includes conducting regular safety audits, implementing safety protocols, and ensuring that all team members are trained and aware of safety procedures from both HARCO side and our customers side.
- Daily Operations: Oversee the day-to-day operations on site, ensuring that all activities are carried out efficiently and effectively. This includes coordinating with different departments, managing resources, and assisting the team if any issues that arise.
- Communication: Maintain clear and effective communication with clients, ships Vessel, and other relevant parties. This involves regular updates, addressing any concerns or queries, and ensuring that all stakeholders are kept informed about the progress of the project.
- Documentation: Ensure that all necessary documentation is completed accurately and on time. This includes maintaining records of all site activities, preparing reports, and ensuring that all documentation is compliant with regulatory requirements.
- Reporting: Prepare and submit regular reports on site activities, including progress reports, incident reports, and any other required documentation.
- Approval: Approve checklists and timesheets, ensuring that all entries are accurate and that all tasks have been completed to the required standard.
Tasks:
- Project Planning and Preparation: Plan and prepare for upcoming projects, including developing project plans, allocating resources, and ensuring that all necessary preparations are in place.
- Execution: Oversee the execution of projects, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required standard. This involves coordinating with different teams, monitoring progress, and addressing any issues that arise.
- Project Closure: Manage the demobilization and closure of projects, ensuring that all tasks are completed, all equipment is returned, and all documentation is finalized.
- Certification: Ensure that all necessary certifications are obtained and maintained, including conducting regular audits and ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
- Tool Management: Oversee the management and maintenance of tools, ensuring that all equipment is in good working order and that all necessary tools are available for use.
- Crew Management: Plan and manage site personnel, including scheduling, crew changes, and ensuring that all team members are adequately trained and equipped to perform their tasks.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Basic IT Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft 365, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Leadership Experience: Proven experience in a leadership role, with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
- Commercial Experience: Strong commercial acumen and the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Solution-Oriented: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet.
- Experience with Wind Turbine Installation: Previous experience in wind turbine installation is highly desirable, with a strong understanding of the specific challenges and requirements of this field.
