Are you ready to set the direction for and lead the Technology organisation that supports a growing international business – while making the world love liquorice?

As Head of Technology at LAKRIDS BY BÜLOW, you will have overall responsibility for our Technology organisation and infrastructure. You will define the long-term direction, ensure operational stability, and develop a scalable and secure IT landscape that supports the entire business. This is a role with broad responsibility, combining strategic oversight with hands-on involvement where needed.

We are looking for a Head of Technology who combines leadership, structure, and strong technological insight, and who understands how solid IT foundations enable growth, efficiency, and quality across our three business pillars: Own Retail, E-commerce, and B2B. 

Our Technology organisation today

The Technology organisation is built around three core areas:

  • ERP Business
  • Digital Operations
  • IT infrastructure

The department currently consists of a small number of employees and several external freelancers and consultants, including infrastructure and AD specialists. One of your tasks is to create the right mix of internal competencies and external partnerships to meet business needs. A central priority in the near future will be the upgrade to a new ERP platform, for which you will have overall responsibility.

Your role

As Head of Technology, you will set the direction for our entire IT landscape and ensure that systems, infrastructure, and governance work reliably and efficiently across the business.

Your main responsibilities include:

  • Define and implement the Technology strategy in close collaboration with senior leadership.
  • Lead and develop the Technology team with a focus on structure, collaboration, and clear priorities.
  • Ensure stable, secure, and scalable IT operations across stores, e-commerce, B2B, and headquarters.
  • Act as the primary IT business partner, ensuring technology supports growth and innovation.
  • Coordinate and optimise collaboration with external IT vendors and partners.
  • Drive IT security, governance, and compliance initiatives.
  • Create transparency and structure in IT operations, ensuring Technology is perceived as a professional and value-adding function.

System landscape

We operate a modern and integrated system landscape supporting all business areas, including:

  • ERP: Microsoft Navision (upcoming upgrade)
  • Retail: Sitoo
  • E-commerce: BigCommerce
  • Wholesale: Sana
  • DTC CRM: Voyado

You will have overall responsibility for ensuring that these – and other systems – are well integrated, reliable, and aligned with business needs, together with the Technology team.

Job requirements

About you

You are an experienced Techonology/IT leader who sees this role as a natural next step. You bring both strategic perspective and operational understanding, and you are comfortable taking ownership of complex IT landscapes.

Ideally, you bring:

  • Proven experience leading Technology/IT teams and working with external vendors.
  • Strong understanding of ERP systems, integrations, and enterprise IT infrastructure.
  • Experience with IT security, governance, and compliance.
  • The ability to communicate clearly and create alignment across functions.
  • Fluency in English; Danish is an advantage.
