Financial Controller

At Mannaz, we are experiencing a rapid increase in the demand for our services and are looking for a Financial Controller to join our Copenhagen Office. As our new Financial Controller, you will be a vital part of the Financial Team, which consists of four colleagues reporting to the CFO. You will cooperate with other internal and external stakeholders, using your interpersonal skills with many different contacts over a range of tasks that makes the day feel like it goes fast.


Your role will involve accounting tasks:

  • Assist with day-to-day financial tasks such as accounts receivable and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Manage accounting corrections and handle lease adjustments according to IFRS 16
  • Responsible for bookkeeping and project accounting
  • Assist with payroll activities
  • Support in documentation preparation for auditors for designated areas of the group annual report
  • Ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations within VAT, transfer pricing and operations

 

Some of your transactional tasks:

  • Handle internal and external questions regarding a wide range of financial processes
  • Backup on debtor related tasks
  • Support customer invoicing process and contact for internal customer inquiries

 

As business controller you may:

  • Participate in the monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting of both financial and operational performance
  • Act as the controller for Denmark, Sweden, and UK, overseeing specific accounting areas
  • Participate in the controlling of revenues, margins, and operational costs
  • Contribute to improving and optimising various financial processes
  • Provide ongoing support on financial projects
  • Act as backup for selected Head of Finance and CFO tasks
  • Perform ad hoc tasks and analyses

 

About you:

You look forward to growing in this role. You are a motivated person with a flair for finance, IT systems and software, good analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail. You enjoy maintaining relationships with internal stakeholders at all levels of the organisation. You are highly organised and able to meet deadlines consistently.

 

  • you have a proactive approach and take ownership of your work
  • you are proficient in Excel and have basic knowledge of Power BI
  • you have good communication skills, fluent in written and spoken Danish and English
  • knowledge of Maconomy accounting system is a plus
  • you are a team player, but at the same time thrive in independent work

 

Your qualifications / experience

  • experience in a finance team in accounting and financial reporting roles
  • bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance or economics
  • in-depth understanding of accounting practices
  • experience with independent project management
