At Mannaz, we are experiencing a rapid increase in the demand for our services and are looking for a managing director to join our Swedish office in Malmo. Might this be you? Our new managing director will build our Swedish team up to meet its the optimal performance, while also performing the role of trusted advisor and partner to some of the world’s leading companies. Together with the Swedish team, the managing director will enable Mannaz’ clients to unlock the full potential of their leadership, organisational, project management, transformational and ‘execution muscles’.


Our clients are leaders in their sectors in Sweden and throughout the world, so we expect that you are a senior-level director with prior success in:

  • business development
  • client relationships
  • winning bids for new business
  • designing and facilitating highly professional and value-adding programmes within multiple disciplines, such as leadership, organisational development and project and change management


Your role

As Managing Director, Sweden, you will have full P&L responsibility for the Swedish business and for guiding and growing the Swedish team and business. An important strategic task is to maintain profitability and increase sales, thus creating a sustainable business for the long-term, which is geared for growth.


Mannaz has an ambition to increase its services within Management Consulting and has spent the past year preparing the organisation for this journey. Therefore, as our new Managing Director, Sweden, you play an important role in facilitating this ongoing change journey, where the Swedish (as well as the rest of the consulting) organisation becomes a more commercially oriented operation. The Swedish business today is engaged with a portfolio of large, primarily private, international clients and wants to increase service areas within each client, but also to expand the client base, for example within the public sector.


The Consulting Sweden team currently consists of 7 highly skilled, experienced consultants, as well as several closely linked associates. You will provide leadership and support to these team members daily, but also work closely with the other teams within Consulting, and both internal and external stakeholders internationally. The position reports to our SVP Consulting International, located in London.


Key tasks include

In addition to the responsibilities described above, the tasks of the Managing Director, Sweden also include, but are not limited to:

  • Engaging a strong team which taps into Mannaz synergies internationally
  • Acting as a role model within one or more areas of expertise within Consulting
  • Sharpening business development and account management execution activities and follow-ups
  • Shaping and executing the business plan for 2024 and beyond
  • Increasing general business acumen of the organisation
  • Forming the vision & strategy for the future, including:
  • Positioning & services strategy – evolution through transformation & change
  • Operating model, incl. associate setup
  • Go-to-market model incl. marketing requirements
  • Digital strategy in cooperation with Mannaz Digital


Your qualifications / experience

  • You can come from a variety of different backgrounds, but it is essential that you bring +10 years’ experience and have been in a (management) consultant role.
  • You have performed well commercially, at selling services, training programmes or solutions to relevant clients in the Swedish market, which has provided you with an active and current professional network.
  • Professional experience within business transformation/change, leadership development, project/programme management, organisational development and/or strategy & implementation is preferred. Alternatively, work with related services and a readiness to develop your skillset.
  • A well-equipped managerial toolbox and leadership experience, particularly in a cross-organisational setting.
  • Understanding of digital services (e.g., digital transformation, digital leadership, blended learning journeys) is a plus.
  • Fluency in both written and spoken Swedish is preferred – alternatively, Scandinavian
  • Fluency in both written and spoken English is required.
