Are you looking for an opportunity where you can take commercial responsibility for a high-potential product and build long-term relations with key airports and partners across Europe and Asia Pacific? We are looking for a strong and proactive Sales Manager to lead the commercial development and execution of our innovative Transfer Belt in new and existing markets.

As Sales Manager for the Transfer Belt, you will enter a role with proven customer interest and a solid foundation to build further commercial success on. Your focus will be on further developing this product area by engaging with key airports, infrastructure contractors and system integrators across Europe and Asia Pacific. You will work both independently and in close collaboration with Power Stow’s Area Sales Managers to convert ongoing interest and market opportunities into long-term business. This is a hands-on, field-oriented position where understanding the technical context and navigating complex stakeholder environments is key. You will play a central role in identifying opportunities, coordinating projects internally and externally and ensuring that the Transfer Belt is successfully implemented. With growing market interest and ongoing projects already underway, you will not be starting from scratch but rather take the lead in elevating an innovative product to its next level of commercial success.


Responsibilities

  • Take commercial ownership of the Transfer Belt business, with a focus on growth and market expansion
  • Strengthen and maintain long-term relationships with airports, infrastructure contractors and baggage handling system providers across Europe and Asia Pacific
  • Act as the key driver in coordinating and prioritizing Transfer Belt activities in collaboration with Area Sales Managers for the Rollertrack Conveyor
  • Ensure strong market presence through strategic partner engagement, stakeholder alignment and effective positioning of the product
  • Translate customer needs into commercially viable solutions and ensure consistent follow-up from initial dialogue to signed order and implementation
  • Represent Power Stow at industry events, customer meetings and technical discussions ensuring our Transfer Belt solution remains top-of-mind across potential customers


About the Transfer Belt


Product description

The Transfer Belt is a high-potential Power Stow solution designed to be integrated either into existing airport baggage systems or as part of new airport construction projects. The solution is sold directly to airports or via infrastructure contractors and baggage handling system providers such as Vanderlande, Siemens, Beumer etc. The product is already installed in several major airports across Europe and Asia Pacific and Power Stow is actively engaged in a range of ongoing sales projects. The Sales Manager, Transfer Belt is commercially responsible for driving further growth of the Transfer Belt business across Europe and Asia Pacific. The focus is on building strong stakeholder relationships and developing a solid business pipeline. The role is carried out in close collaboration with Area Sales Managers, who primarily focus on the Rollertrack Conveyor. Sales projects are typically long and complex as the Transfer Belt often constitutes a smaller part of a larger baggage handling solution. Successfully managing such projects, including tenders and technical alignment across commercial and operational stakeholders, is key to success in this role.


Sales process

A typical sales process spans 6 to 24 months and includes the following phases:

  • Identifying relevant stakeholders at the target airport through thorough research and analysis
  • Approaching stakeholders via email, phone, meetings, exhibitions, and seminars
  • Building relationships and creating awareness around Power Stow’s products and services
  • Developing and presenting tailored value propositions, including specific ROI calculations
  • Facilitating the internal sales process at the customer, often managing a full tender
  • Gaining trial commitments, ensuring proper use of the Transfer Belt and documenting achieved efficiency gains
  • Converting trials into firm orders, facilitating implementation and staff training
  • Managing key accounts, nurturing long-term relationships and identifying repeat business opportunities
  • Using successful installations as reference cases for further market development

The role is extremely hands-on and requires a proactive, structured and commercially driven approach to turning long-term opportunities into confirmed Transfer Belt orders.


Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in technical B2B project sales, ideally within the airport industry, industrial automation or construction-related systems
  • Strong commercial and stakeholder management skills across complex sales cycles
  • Solid experience working with tender-driven sales processes and long lead times
  • Familiar with collaborating across technical, commercial and operational functions
  • Fluent in English, both written and verbal. Danish is an advantage, but not a requirement. Additional languages are always appreciated

You are technically astute and commercially driven with strong interpersonal skills and a structured mindset. You take ownership and work proactively to convert opportunities into confirmed orders.

You will report to Christian Søeberg, CCO and collaborate closely with Area Sales Managers focusing on the Rollertrack Conveyor business. This includes shared follow-up on leads, support in customer meetings and alignment of market development strategies. You will also work across departments including Production Engineering, Operations and After Sales.
