Location: Remote the Nordic region
smartTec is expanding our operation in the Nordic region and Baltic area, and therefore we are looking for new service technicians. You will become an important contributor in one of Europe's leading distributors of production equipment and process materials for electronics production.
We are seeking dedicated and experienced Service Technicians to strengthen our technical team and ensure outstanding support for our customers in the Nordic region and the Baltics. You will work from your home base reporting to our service manager for the Nordic region, servicing the entire region in close collaboration with your team colleagues.
You will have a central role in an international environment with a great team spirit and a pleasant tone in focus. We are among the largest in Europe within our product area, and here you have a decisive role in providing our customers with the best support as we are striving to be the best team in the industry.
Take care of our customers - Tasks and responsibilities:
In a busy everyday life, with contact to customers, suppliers, and colleagues, you keep a cool head, juggling many varying tasks – in close cooperation with smartTec customer support team.
Work tasks will typically consist of on-site installation and programming of new equipment at our customers, application work, training as well as repair and troubleshooting of existing equipment.
We are looking for a person who can work independently with our customers primarily in the Nordic region and the Baltics, but also collaborate with the rest of our service team in Germany when this becomes necessary. You can expect approximately 120 traveldays.
Your contribution – Qualifications:
If you are an outgoing person with a strong technical and mechanical understanding, you have maybe worked as a process technician in the electronics industry or similar, then you might be one of our new Service Technicians.

Your training in our products will mainly take place at our suppliers in Europe, the USA and Asia, and together with our other Service Technicians at our customers in the Nordic region and the Baltics.
smartTec was established in 2003, with a management team who has been working together in the industry since 1992. We operate from our head office in Frankfurt and Nordic office in Copenhagen. We employ approx. 70 people, and hope that you will be part of our team. You will be part of our European service team, but primarily concentrate on our Scandinavian and Baltic customers. Our service team employs approx. 35 people with the focus to provide our customers with 1st class products and support, hence we are today leading supplier of production equipment and process-material for the electronic industry.
