Project Manager/Engineer

The focus of Fenagy UK is to develop the local market for our Danish manufactured solutions with a focus on District and Industrial heating/cooling. With several projects secured to date there is a need to grow the UK team to ensure project success and sustainable growth in this exciting market.

 

Project Manager/Engineer Role

The successful applicant for this role will join our Project Management team to manage the successful delivery of projects throughout the UK and potentially in other European countries. You will coordinate with the engineering team to ensure a comprehensive knowledge of the products and solutions to guide customers through the project process. Once projects are completed the Project Manager, with support from the Fenagy after sales team, will ensure the ongoing performance of systems and that customers continue to be supported throughout product life.

 

Key Tasks

As a Project Manager the primary objectives will be:

Ensure successful delivery of projects managing the process from order to commissioning by:

  • Managing timelines & logistics
  • Attending project meetings
  • Regularly reviewing project progress and inspecting installations
  • Planning and managing the commissioning process

Work closely with the Fenagy Denmark factory to ensure correct technical specifications for products are met.

Engage with customer project delivery teams to support wider system design and technical understanding of solutions.

Develop project programmes and tools to ensure effective management.

Coordinate with the Fenagy after sales team for project commissioning and monitoring.

Proactively support completed installations.

Support Business Director in training of customers and sales activities.

Develop knowledge of Fenagy solutions with support of the Business Director and wider Fenagy Denmark Team.

The role will involve travel throughout the UK with some travel to Denmark and other European countries for training and project support where required.


The ideal candidate will have:

  • Engineering project delivery experience
  • A background in heating, cooling or electrical systems
  • Competency in using IT solutions such as MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc.)
  • Active interest in developing knowledge in new and innovative technology
  • The ability to interface with customers demonstrating Fenagy solutions
  • UK driving license
