PLC/IO Test Technician at Leading Manufacturer of Large CO2 and Hydrocarbon Heat Pumps and Cooling Systems

The Position

Would you like to help create green climate solutions for the future? Can you see yourself working in an entrepreneurial company with growth ambitions? Then you could be the next PLC/IO test technician at Fenagy in Lystrup.

We are looking for a skilled electrical/PLC technician to join Fenagy’s test team and contribute to quality assurance in the production of heat pumps and cooling systems for district heating and industrial applications.


Your Profile

As a PLC-IO tester, you will be part of a team of three. As an electrical/PLC technician, your tasks will include conducting IO and software testing on Fenagy’s products before they are shipped to the customer, where the complete installation is later tested and commissioned.

Some of your tasks will include:

  • Hardware and IO setup
  • Adjustment and troubleshooting in PLC program and HMI
  • Testing and troubleshooting during production
  • Testing and troubleshooting on-site

Your primary workplace will be at the factory in Lystrup. In short, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality of Fenagy’s products.

We imagine that you:

  • Have a relevant technical background in electrical engineering, such as automation technician, automation technologist, industrial electrician, or marine and technical engineer
  • Possess a high professional level
  • Have hands-on experience with electrical systems, PLC, and troubleshooting, preferably from testing or operation of technical systems
  • Are a team player
  • Are goal-oriented and take responsibility for your tasks


About Fenagy

Fenagy A/S is a leading Danish manufacturer of industrial heat pumps and cooling systems using natural refrigerants, primarily CO2. The company was founded in 2020 and has grown rapidly ever since. Today, we are about 100 employees working in our office and production facilities in Lystrup, just north of Aarhus. Our main market is the Danish district heating sector, where we have had great success with our sustainable CO2 systems.
